All submitted manuscripts are subject to a similarity check using appropriate plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or iThenticate. The similarity check may be conducted after the initial editorial screening and before the manuscript proceeds to the peer review or publication process.

As a general guideline, manuscripts should have a similarity index of no more than 25% to proceed to the next stage of the editorial process. However, the similarity index is not used as the sole basis for determining plagiarism. The editorial team may review the sources and nature of the similarities identified in the report to determine whether they constitute inappropriate overlap, plagiarism, or acceptable similarities such as properly cited quotations, references, commonly used terminology, or standard methodological descriptions.

Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding the recommended threshold may be returned to the authors for revision, clarification, or further evaluation. Where substantial plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified, the manuscript may be rejected in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism or other forms of inappropriate duplication before submission.
