Linggamas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct throughout all stages of the publication process. Publication ethics is a shared responsibility among authors, reviewers, editors, and other parties involved in the publication process. The journal follows the principles of responsible scholarly publishing and the relevant guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The following principles constitute the publication ethics policy of Linggamas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat:

1. Honesty and Originality:
   • All submitted manuscripts must represent original work and must not contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct.
   • Authors must properly acknowledge and cite all sources, ideas, data, and materials used in their manuscripts.
   • Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to more than one journal or published elsewhere in substantially similar form.
2. Authorship and Contribution:
   • Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, implementation, documentation, analysis, or writing of the community service activity and manuscript.
   • All individuals who have made significant contributions should be appropriately recognized as authors or contributors according to their respective contributions.
   • Individuals who have not made a substantial contribution should not be listed as authors.
   • All authors are responsible for approving the final version of the manuscript and agreeing to its submission and publication.
3. Conflict of Interest:
   • Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation, evaluation, or publication of a manuscript.
   • The editorial team will manage disclosed conflicts of interest transparently and may take appropriate measures, including assigning an alternative reviewer or editor when necessary.
4. Protection of Human Participants and Communities:
   • Community service activities involving individuals, groups, or communities must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements.
   • Where applicable, authors must obtain informed consent from participants before collecting personal information, photographs, recordings, testimonials, or other identifiable materials.
   • Implementers must respect the dignity, rights, privacy, safety, and confidentiality of participants and target communities.
   • Participation in community service activities should be voluntary and free from coercion, discrimination, or undue pressure.
   • Authors must take appropriate measures to minimize and prevent physical, psychological, social, economic, or other potential harm to participants and communities.
5. Peer Review:
   • The journal applies a fair, objective, and confidential peer review process to evaluate submitted manuscripts.
   • Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, objective, and relevant comments based on the quality, originality, methodology, relevance, and contribution of the manuscript.
   • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must disclose any potential conflict of interest that may affect their impartiality.
6. Copyright and Intellectual Property:
   • Authors must respect applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
   • Copyrighted materials may only be used with appropriate permission or in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
   • All sources and materials used in the manuscript must be properly cited and acknowledged.
7. Editorial Responsibility:
   • The editorial team is responsible for ensuring that manuscripts accepted for publication meet the journal's academic, ethical, and publication standards.
   • Editorial decisions must be based on the academic quality, relevance, originality, and contribution of the manuscript and must not be influenced by commercial, institutional, personal, or other inappropriate considerations.
   • Editors must maintain confidentiality throughout the editorial and peer review process and must appropriately manage suspected ethical violations.
8. Retraction, Correction, and Erratum:
   • Published articles may be retracted when there is clear evidence of serious violations of publication ethics, including plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or other misconduct that substantially affects the integrity of the published work.
   • Significant errors or inaccuracies identified after publication will be addressed through appropriate corrections or errata.
   • Retractions and corrections will be clearly identified and linked to the original publication to maintain transparency and preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

Linggamas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat encourages all authors, reviewers, editors, and contributors to uphold these ethical principles and to report any suspected ethical violations to the editorial team. The journal will investigate reported concerns fairly and confidentially and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable publication ethics standards.
