Focus
Linggamas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is dedicated to publishing scholarly and evidence-based works on community service and community engagement. The journal provides a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, innovations, and best practices arising from community service activities conducted by academics, practitioners, and community partners. Its primary focus is on community-based initiatives that contribute to improving community well-being, addressing societal challenges, strengthening community capacity, and supporting sustainable development.
Scope
Linggamas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat welcomes original articles on a broad range of topics related to community service and community engagement, including but not limited to:
- Community Development: Community empowerment, capacity building, participatory development, local potential development, and sustainable community-based solutions.
- Education and Community Empowerment: Educational programs, literacy, training, service-learning, and initiatives to improve knowledge, skills, and community capacity.
- Health and Well-being: Community health promotion, disease prevention, health education, healthcare access, nutrition, maternal and child health, and initiatives to improve community well-being.
- Social and Economic Empowerment: Entrepreneurship, income generation, MSME development, financial literacy, and other initiatives supporting community economic resilience.
- Environment and Sustainability: Environmental conservation, waste management, climate resilience, sustainable resource management, and environmentally responsible community practices.
- Technology and Digital Innovation: Application of information technology, digital platforms, appropriate technology, and technological innovations to address community needs.
- Agriculture and Food Security: Community-based agriculture, livestock, fisheries, food security, sustainable food systems, and agricultural innovation.
- Social Inclusion and Equity: Initiatives addressing social disparities, inclusion, accessibility, vulnerable groups, gender equality, and community participation.
- Disaster Management and Resilience: Disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, recovery, and community resilience.
- Policy, Governance, and Community Engagement: Community participation, public policy implementation, institutional collaboration, local governance, and partnerships between universities, government, industry, and communities.
Methodological Diversity
Linggamas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat welcomes diverse approaches to documenting and evaluating community service activities, including qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, participatory approaches, action research, case studies, program evaluation, and other appropriate methodologies. Interdisciplinary approaches and collaboration among academics, practitioners, government institutions, industry, and community members are particularly encouraged.
Audience
The journal serves academics, researchers, educators, community development practitioners, government officials, policymakers, non-governmental organizations, students, and other stakeholders involved in community service, community empowerment, and sustainable development.
Through the dissemination of innovative practices, evidence-based interventions, and lessons learned from community service activities, Linggamas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat aims to strengthen the contribution of higher education to society and promote meaningful, sustainable, and inclusive community development.
