Peer Review Process
In the review process, PHMJ involves writers, editors, section editors, and reviewers. PHMJ applies the Double-Blind Review model to maintain confidentiality. Every submitted manuscript is first checked by the editor. If the article meets the journal's focus and scope and follows the PHMJ writing guidelines, the manuscript is forwarded to reviewers to assess its content and novelty. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author. A minimum of 2 reviewers will review each manuscript for approximately 1–2 weeks, based on the criteria stated in the Article Assessment Form for Reviewers. Articles that have been submitted take an average of approximately 8 weeks to be published.
